Must Have Accessories

Hello Chilies, Happy new month. May the lord perfects all that concerns us this month and beyond.  We would be looking at must have accessories for guys.

Accessory is a great way of introducing colour, style and details to your outfit or look.
The accessories you wear are what make your look different from the last time you wore that same dress.  Accessories are not just for ladies, although you will agree with me that ladies have more options and variety than men. Regardless of limited option accessories could be a man’s best friend, men can make the most out of it and have a classic look each day.

 These are the accessories I think a man should have.

WATCH

Ranging from the leather, gold plated, Rolex, Swatch, the Aboki etc. whichever is your choice all that is needed is a timepiece. Don’t be freaked by designers. Get a wrist watch that fits your job and style

TIE

 I know it’s not every guy that loves to wear a tie, I hear someone say “I love to look casual, “I don’t work in a corporate organisation” but you need to have at least a tie in your wardrobe. Trust me you need them for your formal occasion, you need them for that business meeting. I’ll advise you invest in neutral colours, black, brown or navy, something that goes with nearly all your shirt finally to tie, please ensure you knot properly. Click here to learn how to knot ties


CUFF-LINKS

 It’s quite tiny, you might think it’s not noticeable, but they are. Either a metal or a knitted cuff-links, go for something simple and classy. You make a statement when you wear a matching cuff-links. Choose the right pair of cuff-links. Don’t rush out of the house wearing a rice and beans pair cuff-links …. Lol ... I’m sure you understand what that means (two different cuff-links), I’ve worn rice and beans before... lol




TIE CLIP

 It is not commonly used. It is an inevitable accessory that adds to your style.
It keeps your tie in place. The tie clip adds a little personality to your outfit. It gives you a mature look. Some say tie clip is what separates men from boys.





BELT

Belt ain’t just for making your pants stay in place. I am yet to come across a man that does wear belts. Belts are fashion accessories that must be worn correctly. It is an essential accessory that must watch your shoes colour. A brown belt on brown shoe


POCKET SQUARE


Pocket square is a nice way to add colour and pattern to your outfit especially jacket. Pocket square can also be worn on native. When you wearing your P.S, apply the plain on pattern rule.  Patterned P.S on a plain jacket, plain sure does goes on plain but not patterned on pattern.


SUNGLASSES

Sunglasses are really cool accessories for men, when I say cool, I mean every word COOL! There is this celebrity look it gives. Buy frames that fit your face. Also I’ll like to emphasise that it is called SUNGLASSES, that means outdoor it’s not to be worn in a tinted car or at the bar.


SOCKS

Your sock is part of your style. Your sock has a lot to say about your style. Wear the right sock’ several guys abuse the wear of socks. Socks adds to the colour of your outfit
Coloured socks are now trendy. 
 guys abeg wash your socks often

Hello Chilies! It being raining all day and I really wish I could be in bed all day,  ***Bruno Mars song playing in my head*** in one of my  previous post I told you of my love for ties, sock is another accessory I notice in a guy’s dressing.  A guy’s foot clothing has a lot to say about him.
